Déjà vu

You ever had that déjà vu feeling?

Like you wake up one morning and you stare into the mirror, straight through your face; you wonder.

Or you sitting at work and suddenly your reflection pierces back at you; you wonder.

Glaring for a few minutes that make your body feel like its’s been hours.

You’re numb.

You’re powerless.

You’ve been here before.

You’ve felt that very same feeling before.

That very moment so vivid and clear.

It strikes you with doubt and a little fear.

Then comes the thinking.

The part where you try to separate what’s real from what’s not.

And like a dream it all disappears before you can figure out how it ever appeared.

How cruel déjà vu is.

It’s a pity, I was getting used to this…
