Some say that a Mediterranean diet is good for you. And, that if you eat a mostly Mediterranean diet you’ll be healthier and live longer. All I know is that you should always have a really good extra virgin olive oil.

There’s something about Mediterranean food that looks as good as it sounds; it almost oozes sex appeal. Something born out of a deep and long culture; a style popularized in the Mediterranean Basin and loved all around the world.
The reason for its much publicized popularity is because of the health benefits with a diet that’s rich in olive oil, wheat, fruit, vegetables and low in meat and dairy products. However, despite the healthy side, Mediterranean food still covers the ways that other ingredients like meat and dairy products are used in cooking whether they are healthy or not.
With that being said; I would be lying to you if you’d ask me to score Mediterranean food and I’d give you a score out of ten because I rate it way beyond just a ten.
